I kept seeing people linking to this, and didn’t understand why. But having tried it, I can now highly recommend it. Click on the picture (or the link) to play.
(P.S. It’s not funny. Just fun.)
(P.P.S. Before someone points out that technically it’s not “first-person”, since that would mean something like looking down, spinning, as a pile of blocks moves closer and closer to you; I’m well aware of that, it’s just what the designer called it.)

Well thanks for pre-empting me Drew, that’s exactly what I would have pointed out. The designer is clearly an idiot and has no understanding of the term “first-person”. Have they never played Doom? I would have called it something like “Relativity Tetris” or “Tetris: Block-o-centric Edition!”
Anyways, quite an interesting game.
I was actually hoping this was going to be the game I thought Tetris was when I fist saw this advert as a kid:

After seeing this, especially the scene at 0:15, I was convinced I was buying a survival action game set in a some sort of Hellraiser-like hell world of mazes and moving walls… Man was I a dissapointed kid.
Dang that looks crazy-awesome! Why has no-one made that version of Tetris!?
> I would have called it something like: “Tetris: Block-o-centric Edition!”
I like it! That’s both catchy and factually correct! Two points to Tom.
Brendan: As much as I love Tetris, that game (well, the imagined game, based on the advert) is even more awesome! What a disappointment that must have been! Do they not have an Advertising Standards Agency in Germany? Sheesh!
This made me ill.
