Drew, now there is old and then there is OLD. I understand its inevitable that we are gonna post thing some have seen…but this….really?
Id say the Amatosauce expiry date is around the 3 week mark at most. This is about 2 years old.
However, I am happy there are more posts being put up so ill let this one slide. but youre on thin ice, I dont want to temporarily suspend your account.
Understood?

On a serious note, there is something way creepier when its an animated gif! Its like the birth of the future! A little baby robot dear….awwwwwww when i put it like that…BRING ON ROBOTS!
drew spewed:
FUCK’S SAKE!
WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER?!
More importantly: HOW THE FUCK IS SO MUCH OF THE INTERNET PASSING ME BY?!
I thought you were exaggerating, but you’re right, that’s a year and a half old! WTF?!
I completely disagree with saying the cut-off is 3 weeks; it’s not about “time” for me, it’s about “how likely someone is to have already seen it”.
If it’s something that’s been on the news, then it’s probably too late, even if it’s only one-day old. Similarly, if something’s 2 years old, but no one’s seen it, then I think it’s still good.
But, DAMN!, have I been dropping the ball.
I’ll try to do better now, okay?
Mike spewed:
Hahaha yeah the 3 week thing was kinda a joke….obviously anything is good, from any time. I was just making a point…nothing has been that dated though…and that was big net-news at the time.
But….you are forgiven.
drew spewed:
Phew, that’s a relief.
I admit to having forgotten the rulz, and how they disparage anything over 4 days old. So, that’s my bad.
Yeah, I don’t mind posting old-stuff, but if it’s old, and everyone saw it years ago, that’s when I feel bad.
I don’t remember this being internet-news, though. That’s the weirdest part to me. I read Engadget fairly regularly, for example, and I still don’t remember seeing it.
But still: raising my game!
tom spewed:
Didn’t I post this on AS when it came out 5 years ago?
Anyways check out this slightly newer bigdog vid, maybe you haven’t seen it Drew.
Mike spewed:
Hahahahahahahahaha Tom that video is literally hilarious!
It actually took me a second to ‘get it’.
Kudos my brother.
drew spewed:
Hahahahaha. That was excellent! The bit on the swing is my favourite part.
What’s funny is that when I saw the first video (y’know, five years ago), I had to stare to convince myself it wasn’t just 2 guys, dressed in black, bent over, carrying stuff.
And then when I saw Tom’s video, I thought, “Wow, that robot’s gotten even *better*!”
What a ‘tard.
tom spewed:
It’s actually so similar to the original bigdog video that I thought I was watching the same thing again. Y’know, when I saw it for the first time, five years ago.

I like the way “five years ago” has become our own personal “Last Thursday“:
“Last Thursday” also represents a measure of time, being the long-term memory of popular culture generally and sixteen year old girls in particular, since both seem to have trouble recalling anything that happened before last Thursday. As a span of time, last Thursday lies somewhere between a hundred years ago and this week, and is always followed by last Friday.
It is widely accepted that anything that did not take place this week took place Last Thursday.
It should be noted that Last Thursday has been unfunny since Last Wednesday.
