    Ignore the philistine, Brendan; this is pretty fucking awesome. (I just can’t decide which one to use as a wallpaper.)

    The Boston Globe site has some amazing photography spreads, and this is one of the cooler ones, definitely.

    Oh, and obviously, it gets tons and tons of bonus points for the subject/background. Win.

    Hahaha! Well I blame spell checker, because it came up with corrections for how I had actually spelled it… So I guess it thinks “importunate” is a word that is used often enough to warrant being the first correction for misfortunate. I went with it.

    I was thinking “inopportune”. (But I guess that’s probably unlikely, for Nick.)

    And then I was wondering if it was like the Japanese using the same word for “unfortunate”, and “important”: crisurtunity!
