Creepy artist… and Nick?10.12.09
Mike, remember the creepy thread on Altnation, and that weird photo of the ginger kid in the large empty palace holding the severed head of some ogre/giant type thing? Here’s more of his work. He’s obviously quite the talented sculptor, but his stuff gives me the serious heebie jeebies! I’ll take Cunningham’s Rubber Johnny any day over this guy!
The artist in question is called Charlie White.
Random fact (again for Mike, because I’m not sure who else would know what I’m talking about): Turns out this guy was responsible for the Interpol music video for “Evil”, the one with the puppet singing by the car crash. Small world.
I have always hated these photos (although this one is definitely the worst). It’s the most perfect visual representation of “WTF?!”
But I love the David/Goliath one! I never even knew that was the same guy!
